CallupAlert is a telephone based alert system for Seniors.
The CallupAlert service is FREE OF CHARGE to subscribers to SeniorCallup.com.
Subscribers to CallupAlert receive a telephone number that can be programmed into their regular telephone and/or into their mobile phone that more and more Seniors have.
In case of emergency, all the Senior has to do is push the programmed number – or call it – and the Senior will immediately be connected to the CallupAlert Central.
When a Senior signs up for CallupAlert, he/she provides certain information so that the Center will know whom to contact in case of emergency.
There are numerous “push-button” services in the market that are based on a “push-button” that a Senior will have to carry with him/her. Experience has established that too often, the Senior does NOT carry that “push-button” with them at all times and cannot find it when needed.
These systems are dependent upon a “box” that has to be placed at some location inside an apartment or a house. If a Senior pushes his/her emergency button, it signals the box than then calls a telephone number, connecting to some service central somewhere. If the Senior is some distance away from the box, the push button signal will not reach the box and the system is in-operational. The SeniorCallup service is portable and a always there.
